Adapted Stochastic PV Hosting Capacity Approach for Electric Vehicle Charging Considering Undervoltage

This paper presents a stochastic approach to single-phase and three-phase EV charge hosting capacity for distribution networks. The method includes the two types of uncertainties, aleatory epistemic, is developed from an equivalent that was applied solar PV estimation. existing low-voltage networks in Northern Sweden, with six 83 customers. lowest background voltage highest consumption per customer are obtained measurements. It shown both have big impact on capacity. also depends strongly charging size, within range size expected near future. large found this study—between 0% 100% customers can simultaneously their car—means such studies needed each individual network. illustrative 3.7 kW 11 power.
